Employee Discipline Code
General Employee Duties:
Refraining from any behavior that compromises the honor and dignity of the job, whether inside or outside the workplace.
Dedicating work hours to fulfilling job duties.
Accurately and faithfully executing orders from superiors within the limits of regulations and instructions.
Performing job duties and assigned tasks actively, efficiently, with honesty, integrity, and precision.
Work to serve the goals and objectives of the entity in which he works, and to achieve the public interest above all else.
Ensure awareness and understanding of the applicable regulations, laws, and instructions related to his work, and apply them without any violation, negligence, or overstepping.
Striving to develop knowledge and skills through continuous training to enhance competence and effectiveness.
Commitment to good moral values.
Loyalty and devotion to the state.
Maintaining the school’s mission and enhancing parents' trust in it.
Ensuring workplace safety.
Acting objectively and impartially without discrimination.
Taking responsibility as per the nature of the job.
Maintaining proper appearance in line with job requirements and prevailing customs and traditions.
Taking appropriate actions to ensure the confidentiality of personal information and not disclosing it.
Employee Duties Towards the Public
The employee must consider the following in their behavior towards the public:
Respecting the rights and interests of others without exception, and dealing with the public with respect, courtesy, tact, neutrality, impartiality, and objectivity without discrimination.
Attending parent meetings and being well-prepared to achieve the intended goals.
Respecting the rights and interests of others without exception.
Seeking to gain the trust of parents through integrity, responsiveness, and appropriate conduct in all matters in accordance with policies and regulations.
Responding to parents' inquiries and questions and providing accurate and objective periodic reports on students' performance.
Handling students with care and kindness and providing help and support.
Dealing with students' documents and personal information with strict confidentiality in accordance with laws and regulations.
Refraining from any act that negatively affects the trust of students and parents in the schools.
Employee Duties Towards Supervisors
The employee must consider the following in their behavior towards supervisors:
Carrying out the orders of supervisors in accordance with the administrative hierarchy.
Dealing with supervisors respectfully and providing them with opinions, advice, and expertise with objectivity and honesty in the interest of the work.
Employee Duties Towards Colleagues
The employee must observe the following in their behavior towards colleagues:
Treat colleagues with respect, courtesy, and honesty, maintain a healthy and friendly relationship without discrimination, respect their privacy, and refrain from exploiting any personal information to cause harm.
Cooperate with colleagues, share opinions with professionalism and objectivity, and offer help whenever possible to solve work-related problems.
Employee Duties Towards Students
The employee must consider the following in their behavior towards students:
Being a good role model in adhering to laws and regulations.
Developing students' abilities, supporting them, and motivating them to improve their performance.
Respecting students' rights and treating them without favoritism or discrimination.
Striving to enhance the educational process and improve learning outcomes.
Ensuring academic support is provided to all students according to their individual needs.
General Prohibitions
The employee is prohibited from the following:
Misuse of job authority.
Exploiting influence for personal interests.
Accepting or soliciting bribes, or committing any act defined in the Anti-Bribery Law.
Forgery.
Engaging in commerce.
Obstructing workflow, striking, or inciting to do so.
Engaging in conduct that violates community values, traditions, or customs.
Accepting favoritism or nepotism in work tasks, affecting trust in the schools.
Participating in collective complaints or filing malicious complaints against individuals or entities.
Collecting personal documents or samples without legitimate necessity or legal framework.
Safeguarding students' intellectual security and refraining from spreading contrary content.
Prohibitions Related to Information and Documents
The employee is prohibited from the following:
Disclosing confidential information and documents, even after employment ends.
Providing media or social media with comments or information on ongoing matters without written permission.
Criticizing or blaming the government in media or on social media.
Publishing statements or letters that oppose the state's policy or conflict with its political systems, or issuing or signing them.
Prohibitions Related to Finance
The employee is prohibited from the following:
Wasting or misusing school resources or disposing of them unlawfully.
Using school resources for personal benefit or relinquishing any of its rights.
Keeping any school property and not returning it after use.
Using school-assigned assets for personal use unless legally permitted.
Use of Technology Devices
Employees provided with a computer or other devices must:
Take necessary steps to safeguard the device.
Avoid installing software without prior approval from the IT department.
Use the devices efficiently and ensure they are turned off before leaving work.
Protect passwords and confidential data and do not share them.
Use the device strictly for work-related purposes.
Do not access others' accounts to retrieve data unless officially authorized.
Internet Usage
Employees with internet access must:
Use the network for work and professional development only.
Adhere to copyright laws and usage terms.
Report any unusual internet activity to IT immediately.
Do not download unethical or illegal content.
Do not download unrelated media like videos or multimedia files.
Do not attempt to hack or access unauthorized networks.
Email Use
Employees with an official email address must:
Avoid using email for non-work-related messages.
Do not open or forward unknown emails or suspicious attachments without IT approval.
Do not object to authorized monitoring of official emails.
Ensure work documentation is saved electronically in the assigned school drive.
General Guidelines
The employee must disclose in writing to the department designated by their entity any actual or potential conflict of interest before making a decision or expressing an opinion on the matter in question.
These guidelines must be published and made known to the employee, and they must be informed that adherence to their provisions is mandatory.
Create a safe, healthy workspace that meets job needs.
Encourage innovation and employee participation in improving services and workflows.
Apply relevant rules, regulations, and decisions fairly without discrimination.
Familiarize with job-related regulations and this code upon appointment and comply with its provisions.
