The female students of Dar Al Uloom Schools won the second place at Intel ISEF Fair
The female students of Dar Al Uloom schools: Maha Khalid Al-Ghunaim, Rahaf Saleh Al-Buthi and Maria Al-Ghamdi, who are in the third grade of the secondary education stage (the scientific section), won the second place in MAWHIBA’s contest in Science and Engineering on the level of the Kingdom. They won after submitting a research in the field of social and behavioral sciences. It should be noted that 1500 students from 50 different countries participated in this contest and submitted 126 projects. The contest was held under the auspices of King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (MAWHIBA).
Dar Al Uloom Schools won the second place in MAWHIBA exhibition
In this exhibition, the student\ Nourah Abdulaziz Al Rabeeq, invented a device to locate the whereabouts of the children using the Global Positioning System (GPS). She called her device “Where is My Child” and won the second place in MAWHIBA’s contest in Science and Engineering on the level of the Kingdom in 2011 and represented the Kingdom at the Intel ISEF Fair in the United States of America.
Students of Dar Al Uloom schools win the first place in Arab World’s Intel ISEF contest LSCARAB
The students, Nourah Abdulaziz Al Rabeeq and Sarah Salah Al-Nasr, won the first place in Intel ISEF contest in science and engineering which was held in the UAE with the participation of King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (MAWHIBA) in the field of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2011. The two students submitted a research entitled: (The Negative Effects of the Insecticide, Chlorpyrifos, on Fertility). They were also nominated to represent the Kingdom at the Intel ISEF International Fair in Los Angeles, California.
Dar Al Uloom Schools won the second place in the Chemistry Olympiad
The student Talin Abdulaziz won the second place in the Chemistry Olympiad which was held on the level of the Kingdom. She also passed the summer, autumn and spring training course and was then qualified to study at King Abdullah University. Moreover, she participated in the MAWHIBA’s international program which was held in Malaysia in 2014.
Dar Al Uloom students won the fifth and sixth places in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity
The student, Sarah Abdulaziz Al-Nasir, who is a student in the third grade of the secondary stage, won the fifth place with a research entitled: “Studying the possibility of applying the Leidenfrost effect to land transportation vehicles.”
The two students, Sarah Saeed Al-Qahtani and Hissah Al-Duhailan, who are students in the second grade of the secondary stage, obtained the sixth place with their research entitled: (Using the Cutin extracted from the Aloe Vera Plant for thermally insulating the external bodies of traffic vehicles(
Saudi Most Competitive Youth Forum
His Royal Highness, Prince\ Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, honored the student\ Sarah Hassan Al-Qahtani, a student in the second grade of the secondary stage for winning the fourth place in Saudi Most Competitive Youth Forum at its fourth session with her research entitled: (reducing electric power consumption for lightening purposes using smart bulb and reflectors inspired by nature).
